Then you are feeling uncomfortable and roped in by some real-life situation and you want to break out of it. A thief is a person who does not respect any rule or any law and breaks them at the first opportunity. A thief is always engaged in surreptitiously acquiring things of value which belong to others. When you see a thief in your dream, it signifies that you may possess something of value in your real life which somebody wants to take away without your knowledge. The loss of time and energy, the loss of a relationship, can occur if you are not careful enough and cherish them and care for them in your real life. If you are casual or careless about them then somebody may come along and take them away before you can notice.
